We survived finals. Even Potions. We didn't even blow up any cauldrons! Thank you so much for your touching concern on our behalf. And thanks again to Mr Milland for his coaching. (You were right, by the way, about Sluggy throwing in an essay question about Nettleship's Third Theorem; we appreciate the tip.)
Hey, Sirius, our sources report that Terry says he's been having strange dreams. He thinks he's been dreaming of being in his animagus form, although the dreams don't stick with him after he wakes up. Since the details are hazy, he just has a general impression that, quote: smells seem a lot stronger and really, really exciting. That's a good sign, isn't it?
He says he suspects what his form is, but he doesn't want to say, maybe for fear of jinxing the whole process.
In less happy news, he says that the git's told him that Miss Professor Carrow is planning on spending the whole summer at Lincoln Castle. Professor McGonagall, did you know that? So we're gonna be stuck for the summer with the secret keeper holed up and out of reach.
Unless he can figure out how to transform first.

Date: 2012-06-09 06:41 pm (UTC)Huh. Yeah, so Nev wrote McLaggen a private message, didn't he? We missed that before now. Neither one has mentioned anything, the best of our knowledge. But Ron says Neville's been keeping his head down completely, trying not to make waves, we're guessing. Doesn't want to call attention to himself.
All right, we'll watch McLaggen, too. Thanks for the heads up. We can use our ingenuity to make sure he doesn't create any trouble for them.

Date: 2012-06-09 08:36 pm (UTC)What's not a good sign is the idea of Alecto Carrow taking herself inside Lincoln.
I'm heading up there tomorrow to be there in time for Harry's final round in the Tournament. Maybe we can think of a way to keep her from leaving--or giving up the secret.
